Cameron Miculka is a journalist in Glasgow, Scotland.
He most recently wrote as a data journalist at the Office for National Statistics, where he leveraged tools of data analysis to transform complex statistics into an insightful exploration of the rising share of adults living with their parents in parts of England and Wales.
Prior to ONS, he was a local news journalist at the Pacific Daily News in Hagåtña, Guam, and West Hawaii Today in Kailua-Kona, Hawaiʻi.
His writing explores the impacts of high-level policymaking around housing, land use and infrastructure and how communities navigate these changes. This has included highlighting the the surging price of housing in North Kona, Hawaiʻ Island and the impacts of adventure tourism on the island’s infrastructure.
His work has also appeared in Honolulu Civil Beat and FLUX Hawaii.
